What?
In this session The Education and Engagement team will explore some key issues and themes that have been identified by the Care Experienced community with regards to health and access to healthcare services. We will discuss what is important to the community when it comes to their physical health, and inspire you as you strive to support Care Experienced people.
Using breakout rooms, this session will also provide space for discussion and collaboration with fellow Corporate Parents.
When?
This collaborative session will take place on Tuesday, 25th February, 2025, from 10am until 12pm.
Where?
This event will take place on Teams and attendees will be e-mailed a link to the meeting room in advance.
Who?
This training event is open to any member of staff working within a Corporate Parenting body in Scotland.
The Education & Engagement Team are funded by Scottish Government to provide support and learning sessions to Corporate Parents. Therefore this event if free for anyone working for one of the 26 Corporate Parents named in legislation.
If you do not work for a named Corporate Parent but feel that this session would be relevant to your work, you are still more than welcome to attend this event. We just ask that you pay the small fee of £10 to help support the work that we do and to help us achieve our vision for: A lifetime of equality, respect and love for Care Experienced people.
